“I AM in the best shape of my life
I had never used a personal trainer before so came in with a completely unrealistic goal (think gaining 10kg of additional muscle in 6 months). Shane did not sugarcoat how difficult my goal would be and after about a month I realised he was right. Instead, Shane took my original goals and crafted a workout schedule that embraced the spirit of the goals in order to improve my strength and appearance.
After pushing myself hard (with encouragement from Shane), I eventually gained the desired muscle and tone. My girlfriend definitely approves of the results.

“Consistency and motivation
Before signing up for personal training, I always slipped into either a good routine of going to the gym 5 times a week, or a bad rut of not going to the gym for up to a month. Never a happy medium. Having a personal training session booked in once a week, means I will be working out at least once a week. Shane mixes up my sessions to keep me interested and challenged, and surprises me each time with how far I can be pushed.
What I love about Shane and I Am Fitness is that the service goes beyond the gym. Shane helps me monitor my food intake and encourages me to work out throughout the week when I’m not training with him. He has been highly attentive to my back problems, and tailors my workouts accordingly, with an occasional massage. This dedication and caring side of Shane is what instils my confidence in him and makes me want to train even harder to show my dedication to him.
I am constantly talking about my training to anyone who will listen. It’s such a great life investment that you just can’t put a price on. It’s been 3 months and I am so motivated, thanks to him, and now that I’m starting to see a difference in my body shape and strength, I’m determined as ever to continue my training.
